Our Story 

Do you know how much waste is produced in Singapore?

In Singapore, waste disposal has increased 7-fold over the past 40 years. About 7.7 million tonnes of waste was generated in 2018. This amount is enough to fill 15,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools!

Thus, five friends founded Gaico. On 28 May 2022, to incorporate sustainability efforts into daily lives. Gaico. comes from the word 'Gaia' the Goddess of Earth or Mother Nature.

Meet our founders, Tan Jun Heng (Chief-Executive-Officer), Ang Jia Xin, Ivery Ee Xin En, Tan Jun Feng Gerald and Wee Tze Wei. This small but mighty team works hard with light-hearted spirits always living by our sustainability motto. We are determined to work hand in hand to bring Gaico. to greater heights and to heal the world.

Our tagline is created to advocate shoppers to purchase what is needed and is environmentally friendly, such that the product is long-lasting and, most importantly, minimises waste.
